Course Description: This course involves a systematic analysis of Journalism through study of the U.S. Constitution Bill of Rights, ethics, law, news, television, radio, and the Internet. Students will learn different forms of journalistic writing. As a novice journalist, students will be required to write for the school newspaper, the Eastside View, covering a variety of scholastic events. In addition, other events in the community will be covered. Lastly, students will produce their own newspaper using publishing software. Course Curriculum:
